Citrus Grove - Another Rescue Project

Luckily, a dear friend showed us the citrus trees because we never would have found them underneath the California Grass. This shows how we went from “buried” to “thriving with a lot of maintenance”. We hope to take these to the next stage … “less maintenance, more thrive.”

There’s a bounty of tasty foods on the ‘aina. Many were buried under invasives, so we find more hidden treats as we clear out the weeds. As the garden spaces are developed, we strive to plant perpetuating food sources (with a few annuals we can’t skip, like tomatoes).
